As a regional disposal and recycling partner, Römer AG has been operating recycling centers for the recycling of various materials for decades. In June 2025, the company opened the new, state-of-the-art recycling center “brings” at its Villmergen location for private customers and small businesses. A digital control system is intended to ensure efficient, customer-friendly, and economically sustainable operation. For the planning and implementation of the project, Römer AG relied on the expertise of Hunkeler Systeme AG. The system supplier was responsible for access control, weighing technology, payment process control, as well as the digital platform and software – Römer AG received all services from a single source.
