The Swiss family-owned company Bourquin SA, one of the country’s leading corrugated cardboard manufacturers, has invested a double-digit million amount in expanding production in Oensingen.
On December 6, 2023, Bourquin SA began the renovation and expansion of its plant in Oensingen, Canton of Solothurn. In November 2024, the company commissioned a new corrugator at this location. Part of the large-scale project was a new extraction and disposal system from Hunkeler Systeme AG. With the investment of 17 million Swiss francs, the corrugated cardboard producer is not only strengthening its future viability but also pursuing a clear sustainability strategy.
