The current edition of Focus magazine clearly demonstrates how Hunkeler Systeme AG continues to evolve while remaining true to its proven values. The successful collaboration between Hunkeler Systeme AG and Müller Martini continues. Our shared goal is to provide our customers with innovative and sustainable end-to-end solutions from a single source. With state-of-the-art extraction technology and compact system units for Hunkeler Generation 8, we create genuine added value. I am also pleased that we have been able to further expand our service organisation. By taking over the service activities for HSM OEM baling presses in Switzerland, we are strengthening our presence and support for key customers in the retail market. Short response times, high availability and extensive expertise are crucial factors in ensuring our customers’ success. The articles covering projects in the logistics and packaging sectors also confirm the growing importance of these segments. Automated material flows, solutions for efficient waste management and sustainable processes in packaging production offer significant growth potential. With our engineering expertise, we are ideally positioned to seize these opportunities and further strengthen our market position.

Finally, with our early succession planning, we have taken an important strategic step to ensure the long-term continuity of our company. Our founding shareholders Kurt Käser, Martin Baumann, Andreas Frey and Pascal Rebeaud will remain actively involved in the company as members of the Board of Directors or in operational roles. At the same time, as part of the succession plan, the next generation of executives who are also shareholders in the company will assume operational responsibility from 2027 onwards and continue the successful path of Hunkeler Systeme AG in the same spirit.
